Evaluation report
	A total of 21 participants attended this course which was organized for the fifth time by the International Ticer School. At the end of every day, during this three-day course, all participants received a questionnaire. On the first day, all 21 participants returned the questionnaire, on the second day, the questionnaire was returned by 19 participants, and on the final day, 17 participants filled out the questionnaire. The suggestions and comments that were given, were all very valuable for Ticer. We would like to express our gratitude for that!
	Overall impression This course of the International Ticer School can be considered to be a success. 94% of the participants indicated they would recommend the course to colleagues in the field, 82% said the course was worth its money, and 94% indicated that they will use what they learned in practice.
	Positive remarks I learned a lot in these three days and I am really glad that I could attend this course. It's a very good experience and I go back to work with a good portion of new motivation! Very stimulating and interesting, not that much new things for me, but some new ideas and visions! Thank you. Keep the good quality. I will directly use what I learned in the course when I go back to my library. The programme was overfull but this good. I very much appreciate that you asked the lecturers to stay during the whole course. This gave me enough opportunities to discuss major topics with them face to face. Real chances to learn from professionals. Kind and friendly setting, comfort during the attendance of lessons, excellent equipment of the room at the university. Ticer does this very professionally. 	Programme 88% of the participants could easily discover the structure in the programme. 35% of the participants thought the programme was overfull and 18% felt that the programme should give more opportunity for discussion. We received several remarks that the course should have been 4 or 5 days instead of 3.
	Lectures In the evaluation, participants could rate a programme item 'extremely good', 'good', 'neutral', 'bad' or 'extremely bad'. With their ratings, we calculated a score from 1 to 5, with being 5 the maximum score. The average score was 4.1. The following lectures were rated as the best. For privacy reasons, the lecturers are indicated by numbers, which correspond with the number in the syllabus given to all the participants and lecturers. 	Promotion and communication 53% of the participants indicated that a they themselves or a colleague attended a Ticer course in one of the previous years. 35% found the course via the world wide web, via a newsgroup or via a discussion list and only 12% received a paper brochure on the International Ticer School via direct mail. Communication between Ticer and the participants was considered 'very good' to 'good' by all (100%) of the participants. The combination of e-mail and Ticer's website to keep participants informed was also considered 'very good' to 'good' by all the participants.
	Dinners, lunches and coffee breaks The quality of dinners and lunches was considered 'good' by 82 to 88%% of the participants.
	Accommodation Of the 17 people who filled out the evaluation form, 12 stayed in a hotel near Tilburg University. 83% of the participants were very pleased with this hotel. They rated the price quality ratio 'perfect' to 'good'.
